
The COMAIR Mini Grand Prix is Cincinnati's most unique and exciting charitable event. Over 30 five horsepower mini race cars will go full throttle on the streets of downtown Cincinnati, all vying for the checkered flag.
The race course is in downtown Cincinnati on the city streets surrounding the Proctor and Gamble headquarters. The course contains fast sweeping turns, tight hairpins, and obstacles to test the drivers skills.
The event consists of 4 heat races, followed by a championship race. Heat races determine the starting position for the final race. The overall race winner is determined the finishing position in the final championship race. The Jeffrey S. Hurwitz Weekend Championship Award is given based on points scored in the heat races, the championship race, plus the points scored in the spirit activities such as: the best decorated car judging, best team uniforms, and the fastest tire change competition.
