A short trip this time, four nights in Placencia, one night at the Belize Zoo. This time we stayed at Roberts Grove
in Placencia. A bit less expansive than Chabil Mar, where we stayed the previous time. Roberts Grove was very nice.
Good pool and beachfront. Loved the cabana bar on the dock. Resturant was also very good. I belive it had some
difficulties during COVID, and may not be up to the standards it was when we stayed there. Check recent reviews
if you are considering it.
As usual, the zoo was a delight. Staying at the zoo allowed us to do the private night tour, and made for a very easy
drive to the airport on our departure day. Our other activities were touring the Belize Spice Farm, visiting Nim Li Punit, a nearby Mayan ruin, and a boat tour on the Monkey River.
