Ornate doors and windows are a distinguishing feature of Moroccan
architecture. Here is a sampling of some of the doors and windows we saw. And
since links are doorways to other sites, I figured this would be the logical
place to put links to other web sites related to Morocco.
- A
Morocco travel planner from GoAfrica.com
- Another
online travel
guide, sorry, beware of pop up windows at this site.
- Connection Car
rental, where we rented our cars. Not bad, the cars were a little beat up,
but much better prices than through the regular online travel services.
- The George Washington
Academy of Casablanca, where my friends teach.
- The Lonely
Planet Morocco guide book was good. They also have a Moroccan arabic phrase
book available.
- A nice
personal travelogue site about Morocco
- Adventures
with Ali, the group we did our Saharan camel trek with. Ali can arrange
anything from a day trip to the desert to a week long escorted trip around the
country. He and his brother Hassan guided Hillary and Chelsea Clinton on their
camel trip in 1999.
