Great trip to Vancouver and Vancouver Island with our friends Dave and Ken. Can be a little time consuming to get to the kayaking. Flight to Vancouver, (1 change of planes). Puddle jumper to Campbell River on Vancouver Island. Ferry to Quadra Island to stay overnight at the Heriot Bay Inn, and rendezvous with our friends and our guide Pat. Next day, ferry back to Vancouver Island, Drive to Telegraph Cove to get on the water taxi to our camp site on Compton Island.

Well worth the trip. Our guide Pat from Spirt of the West Adventures was great. The scenery and wildlife were amazing, and it was great to spend time with friends. Finished the trip with another day in Vancouver, visiting Grouse Mountain ski resort to see the animals and lumberjack show.

We'll be back. Flew on Central Mountain Air to the Island, Stayed at the Heriot Bay Inn on Quadra Island, and at Metropolitan Hotel in Vancouver, and can recommend all of of those businesses.
